FOUNDER

After two decades of high-pressure work in financial services, Geoff, an ex-junior international rower, found himself in a place he never expected — exhausted, stressed-out, overweight, depressed, frequent illnesses and battling chronic lower-back pain, inflammation and sleep issues. In 2019, a burnout forced him to confront the toll that years of neglect had taken on his body and mind. But this was the turning point.

Armed with his university degree in Biology and a rekindled passion for human health, Geoff dove deep into the science of well-being. What began as a personal quest to optimise his health turned into an obsession. He pored over scientific journals, studied the latest research on sleep, nutrition, exercise, metabolic health, and mental wellbeing, and began experimenting with biohacking techniques like cold water therapy, saunas, and tracking his biomarkers. Slowly but surely, he transformed his body and mind, eventually returning to competitive rowing at Elite level.

This journey turned out not to be just about personal recovery — it sparked the idea for OBERON. Geoff realised that many people, like him, are stuck feeling that poor health and low energy are just part of aging. He refused to accept that. OBERON was born out of his belief that natural, non-pharmaceutical approaches can help anyone recover and thrive, no matter their starting point.

Geoff, who lives with his wife and two young children in Zürich, Switzerland, has dedicated his life to sharing what he’s learned. OBERON's range of ice baths is the first humble step in its purpose to bring science-backed products and protocols to everyone, helping others reimagine possible their health and longevity.
